Callie and Jake’s wedding day was an absolute blast from start to finish! Held at one of Detroit’s most stunning cathedrals, their ceremony was full of emotion, with the couple exchanging vows in front of their closest family and friends. The bridal party, made up mostly of siblings, added an extra layer of warmth and fun to the day.

From the start, Callie and Jake were open to thinking outside the box, and we had so much fun capturing spontaneous, joyful moments with their siblings and friends. The champagne toast with the wedding party was a way to have a genuine moment together that also would allow me to photograph the real vibes. A standout moment was Callie’s dazzling dress change—her glamorous gown lit up the room and brought all the sparkle the day needed.

After dinner, Callie and Jake took a quick breather and trusted me to capture a few final moments together at the Daxton Hotel. We took a few playful, relaxed photos that were all about them being in the moment before heading back to the party. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve learned how to capture not just the big moments, but all the little ones in between that tell the real story of the day. Their wedding was a perfect mix of laughter, love, and unforgettable memories, and I’m so honored to have been a part of it.
