Danica knows! She's in the wedding business and has seen, worked and served along side wedding planner & designer extraordinaire Ashley Lynch of Festoons & Flourishes helping execute some Detroit's chicest events. So, to have received the call to photograph her event I was beyond excited and touched to have been chosen. 

Danica & Zenon took inspiration from their heritage and cultural backgrounds, infusing a sense of foundation and tradition; blending that with their modern & youthful charm. Their planner Ashley, pulled out the stops to resource & create textural gems including hand engraved seating cards made from mother of pearl in European motifs. There were amazing paper goods by Erin Braun Designs and stunning & lush florals installations by Studio Terrain. 

The standout feature was a greeting wall at the entrance of the venue with embroidered handkerchiefs with the guests names. They were able to use these as traditional elements of the Serbian Kolo dance and as mementos of a truly beautiful event. Check out their video by Spencer Whiteman here.
